NESSARA News
On or before August 8,
2012 all owners and operators of underground storage tank
facilities need to ensure that they satisfy the Operator
Training requirements established by the 2005 Energy
Policy Act (the “Act”). This is a National requirement and
each state will ultimately have their own requirements
with variations in reciprocity, recertification and mode
of training (e.g., classroom, multi-language, on-line
etc.).
Service Station News
There is no
product sold in the United States today like gasoline. Gas
prices are often the part of daily conversations, and
customers will seek out the best “deal” that they can
find. Yet while customers know a lot about the price they
see at the pump, they know far less about the stores that
provide more than 40 million fill-ups every day.
Auto Repair News
Google Inc. says searches
for terms like "auto repair how to," "how to change spark
plugs" and "auto repair classes" have surged since the
financial crisis hit in September 2008. In a survey of
more than 11,000 car owners by auto-repair site AutoMD,
77% of people who said they typically don't do their own
repairs said they were more likely to try. Makers of
devices that let car owners plug in to their cars' onboard
diagnostic systems say business is booming.
